One of the easiest way to make money online is with affiliate marketing. Remember the post I did about the Shoe Money System? Part of the millions this guy is doing every year comes from Affiliate marketing.
What is affiliate marketing? It’s a marketing strategy that has been used in the physical world for decades. It’s the Tupperware / Avlon marketing strategy: Recruit people that will consume our products and sell them for us, and pay them a commission.
Amazon was the first to massively launch this strategy online. A good portion of sales from Amazon in fact comes from people like you and me that refer them people, and in return get paid a commission on sales. Nowadays, tens of thousands of companies are offering an affiliate program: Home Depot, ADT, Sears, and pure online players such as TigersDirect.
So basically, not only can you buy products from those companies, which you probably already do, and save a certain percentage on your purchases (from 5 to 20%), but you can also refer your friends and families and get paid for it. Imagine your brother is about to renovate his home and spend $10,000 at Home Depot. Well you refer him through a special link, and then get yourself $500, which you could split with him!
The only problem with affiliation is knowing where to start. There are thousands of companies, dozens of networks and you have to start somewhere.
